Mohd Hairi Yaakub

I am a painter who has been involved in the Malaysian art scene since 1998. After graduating from university, I worked as an illustrator at an advertising company in Malaysia. In 2000 I decided to paint full time. Now besides painting I am also a visual arts teacher. I started my involvement in visual art with a realism style and progressed to semi-abstract with various subjects and content with different meanings. Until now I started tending to a variety of subjects to achieve the purpose of meaning in my work.
