As a multi-disciplinary artist Gaia focuses on experimental art utilising a combination of traditional and
contemporary techniques. Drawing from her classical Italian education in Architecture, Gaia explores the spiritual,
physical and emotional connections between humanity and nature, integrating the sacredness of the space. Working
within a strong conceptual framework, Gaia currently utilizes a range of mediums, from sculpture to painting,
photography, drawing and textile, to create unique site-specific installations. Within a visionary and playfulness
framework, Gaia aims to influence the viewer's perception through a physical, emotional, and aesthetic experience.
Tapping into cultural memories, environmental issues & spirituality, Gaia’s work –both in painting and drawing–
exists at the boundaries of abstraction, in search of the harmonic relationship between reality and the intangible.
