I am a biologist and I am a painter, which is almost the same: one spends years drawing what he sees with a magnifying glass, drawing what he sees with a microscope, drawing plants, rocks, animals.
Most of my paintings are painted outdoors and with the support resting on the ground, which allows me to paint and turn around the painting; the heat, the wind, the cold, the humidity, everything is transmitted to the paintings. The force of gravity is a great ally: the paint drips, moves across the canvas and forms small landscapes within the total landscape of the painting; it has a lot to do with geology.
My work moves between realism and abstraction, without ever losing sight of nature, which is my source of inspiration.
I use all kinds of materials and supports: acrylic, oil pastel, enamel, chalk pastel, canvas, jean, cardboard, wood.
I have organized about 24 exhibitions, mainly in Argentina, an exhibition in New York and another in Canasvieiras, Brazil.I have participated in numerous collective exhibitions in Argentina.
