I am obsessed with expressionism, the paintings and designs I do are inspired by human experiences
Michael Anto uses art to express and document the nuances, complexities and layers that surrounds the modern African lifestyles. With the use of forms and vibrant colors he evokes the strong flavors of the continents and the spirit of it's people.
He was born and raised in Oron, Akwa ibom State where he developed his art skills and later earn bachelor's degree ( Education Fine Art) in the prestigious university of Uyo Art school in Akwa ibom State. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions around the Nigeria, including Life in My City Festival, Time and Seasons Art exhibitions etc.
The Artist is currently a full-time studio artist capable of exploring various materials, and creating new approaches and recycling waste to wealth..
