Kaia Huang

Born in Yilan in 1995, I am currently based in Taichung, Taiwan. My artistic practice originated from the intuitive output of sensory experiences; however, through long-term creative accumulation, it has gradually shifted toward the rigorous construction and translation of symbolic systems.

My early works were primarily derived from intuitive reactions to life experiences, acting as direct projections of emotion and sensation. As my practice evolved, I realized that the flux of emotion alone was insufficient to explain the world I perceived. Consequently, I turned my focus toward exploring the underlying laws hidden beneath phenomena.

Taking my personal life insights as the sole starting point, I translate the energy logic of all things into a symbolic language endowed with internal order. In the process of engaging in dialogue with space and the essence of existence, I receive and translate messages from the divine, transmuting invisible revelations into visual structures with geometric or organic textures.
