Angelo Asaro

Angelo Asaro is an Italian artist based in London whose practice explores the psychological, philosophical, and existential dimensions of human experience through painting that merges figurative realism, symbolism, and the conceptual construction of the image.

​Asaro defines his visual language as Noetic Surrealism, an artistic investigation in which surrealism does not arise from dreams or the automatism of the unconscious, but from consciousness itself. Visual reality is constructed through cognitive processes and a rigorous compositional architecture, in which every symbolic element occupies a precise position within a coherent system of meanings. The image is not conceived as a representation of the world, but as a reality designed by thought: a space where symbols, figures, and formal relationships become instruments for exploring the psychological and existential dimensions of human experience.

Holding a Master's degree in Engineering and having begun his professional career as a Product Manager, Asaro has developed an artistic approach characterized by structural rigor, analytical precision, and the intentional construction of imagery.
