Jerry Chaval

Jerry CHAVAL was born in 1970 in Flanders. He lives and works in Nantes, France.

From the beginning of the 1990s, at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Arts de Paris-Cergy where he was a member of the “Graphic Resistance” workshop alongside professors T.A. Lewandowski and Bernard Marcadé, he became interested in the universe museographic, the places of presentation of the works, their staging, the signage, the labels, the hanging and he then only focuses on the purely formal aspects of the works he creates.
