Erik Sundgaard

I loved painting ever since I watched my uncle paint as a child. He graduated from Yale Art School and painted mostly portraits. My first paintings were still lifes painted realistically. Later, my work broadened as did my painting style which is often a combination of realism and impressionism. Movement, energy and color are important to me and are commonly seen in my work.
