Gina Allen

Often around environmental and social themes, my work considers the human experience of the intangible. It explores ideas and knowledge in the context of my own and/or other’s responses, acknowledging that while data informs us, responding to it is a more human process, involving lived experiences, cultural and social contexts. Works often combine abstracted data elements and figurative interpretations, which acknowledge the possibility of holding multiple sometimes conflicting responses.
