Freedom is the backbone of my creative work, and I try to nurture that core within myself. I don't want to learn to limit myself to a single medium. The pieces I create most often live on the border between craft and fine art. I love a warm, safe atmosphere, a sense of humour, though I also appreciate the beauty of a leaden sky, I try to share what personally brings me warm feelings. The psychology of colour makes sense to me. In geometry I search for softness and safety, in colour - for structure and expression, in the beauty of nature - for interesting stories. The medium I use finds me; we fall in love with, it catapults me, and we bear the fruits of expression, creation; an ode to nature, to ceramics, to oil, to space. I don't document matter - I collaborate with it. Often it stops being exactly what it was at the beginning, and becomes something free: sound dancing visually, a language, a structure, a visual scent, a possible world. Much like my macro photography - complete in itself, yet becoming a starting point rather than a final destination, it moves further into the creative journey: rhythm, collage, reduction, language, geometry, spatial freedom, even infinity.
