Uud Bharata

I was born in the city of Malang, a highland city in East Java Province and now live in Jakarta. I am a self-taught artist, having had no formal training. My hobby for painting started to grow when I was 4 years old when I could already hold a pencil.
The walls inside the house are silent witnesses to wild drawing activities expressing the images in my mind, whatever they are.
This madness has allowed me to pursue painting from a unique perspective, unencumbered by ideas or techniques formed in the surrounding environment. I have honed my skills and developed my painting style over the years based on my observations of other people's paintings. Visiting many painting exhibitions over the years taught me to develop an interest in painting in various styles. This is based on the fact that painting enthusiasts in Indonesia are very diverse. However, there are still very few fans of modern painting. Realist and naturalist style paintings are more popular with the public. However, the many exhibitions in representative buildings where modern style paintings were displayed ultimately attracted my interest more. Paintings that express freedom and a mindset that is not bound by applicable dogma and rules.

I graduated from the law faculty of Tadulako University, Palu, Central Sulawesi. Learn to paint autodidactically.
