Abdulaziz is not going to talk about himself in the third person. I am very impulsive when it comes to art in general, especially how I perceive it. That doesn't mean I do things hastily, I have a ton of ruined canvases that gave me a good lesson in patience and being financially prudent. I don't know why I do these not so fine art pieces, but I have this urge to create, and they look good and shiny on a wall. Do I enjoy the process? Not the watching paint dry bit. The reason I decided to paint is mostly due to a fascination with colours and colour theory. Whenever I see a painting, the first few seconds, the colours strike me and I see the painting as a messy blurry colourful image until I finally notice the intricate details a few seconds later. That sudden dazzling effect that those colours give me is exactly what I want to immortalize in a canvas. I am as influenced by colour theory as I am influenced by nature, from the dynamics of celestial bodies to the fluidity of water and paint itself, it is very intriguing to me. No matter how grand or microscopic, the laws of nature (motion) are enforced, and things can be replicated sometimes irrespective of scale.
