Carolynne Moonie

I am a Scottish born artist who studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee. Currently living in Yorkshire, I take inspiration from travel, the local landscape, conversations, inter-spatial relationships, sculpture, sound and time.

“I am fascinated by the emotional aspect of colour and constantly strive to express the human condition in all aspects - inlcuding speech and how it affects us.”

Currently, I work mainly on paper in mixed media using acrylic, ink, conte and collage. I like to work where a variation in line and paint texture causes a dialogue and speaks to me.
