Natasha Deriy

My work explores moments of transition—the quiet space between what has passed and what is starting to appear.

I focus on the subtle states of people and nature. Often, we feel change before we can see it or name it. Human emotion and natural cycles move in similar rhythms; they shift slowly, almost silently, as if we breathe together.

I use abstract forms to give shape to these inner movements. Color is central in my paintings. I work with it to hold an emotional atmosphere: calm, clear, and present, without unnecessary drama.

I invite viewers to pause and notice what happens beneath stillness—the quiet moment when something inside has already changed, even if it is not visible yet.
