I am an artist who creates vibrant, emotion-driven paintings inspired by love, harmony, and the quiet strength found in nature. My work blends modern techniques with deep personal expression, highlighting themes of resilience, connection, and beauty in everyday life. Owls have become a signature element in my art—symbols of wisdom, tenderness, and the powerful bond between humans and the natural world. Each piece I create is meant to evoke warmth and hope, inviting viewers to pause, feel, and reconnect with their own inner stories. Whether I’m painting expressive wildlife, symbolic compositions, or bright folkloric motifs, my goal is always the same: to bring more light, kindness, and meaning into the world through art. Art is my voice, my passion, and the way I share love with others.
Rita Slobodiana is a self-taught visual artist born in 1988 in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and currently based in Portland, Oregon, USA. Her painting practice explores themes of hope, emotional resilience, inner transformation, and conscious presence, often shaped through a deeply personal and intuitive perspective.
Working intuitively, Slobodiana develops layered compositions through expressive color and symbolic forms. Her visual language reflects lived experience and emotional awareness, inviting viewers into a contemplative space where vulnerability, strength, and healing.
She collaborates with Artseeker Gallery, and she is a member of the Oregon Society of Artists and the National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society (NOAPS), Oil Painters of America (OPA), International Association of Art - IAA World - UNESCO Official Partner
