Vesna Udicki

I was born in Serbia (Bela Crkva)
I acquired my first knowledge of painting in Secondary school, in the Art section of the Academic painter Cvetko Lainovic.
I perfected my painting skills by attending the Center for Fine Arts, for 4 years in Belgrade, in the class of Academic painter Milan Tepavac Tarin, Master of multimedia art.
I mostly use oil paints, but I also like mixed media and drawing art.
I find inspiration in literature, in music in nature, imaginations...always looking for beauty.
In fact, for me the essence of creativity is the search for beauty that we convey to people.
The music is very important for my inspiration. When you connect music and painting, wonderful things happen.
My favorit painters are impressionists (Klod Mone, Eduar Mane, Edgar Dega, Pol Sezan, Pisaro, Joaquin Sorolla.
Vinsent Van Gogh belongs to the Post-impressionist movement.
I also like russian abstract artist Wassily Kandinsky. He was deeply inspired by music, then American Pop Artist Andy Warhol.

I dedicated two solo exhibitions to Spain, transfering my knowledge of Spanish art and literature to the canvas.
The third solo exhibition "Vintage inspiration" was organized for me, by my mentor Academic painter Milan Tepavac Tarin in the Gallery of the Center for Fine Arts in Belgrade.
