Tetiana Hordiichuk

I am a Ukrainian photographer, born in the Cherkasy region, Ukraine. I hold a higher education degree in Marketing and Project Management. I began my journey in photography in 2014 at the Kyiv School of Photography and have been working professionally since 2018.

My artistic practice combines abstract photography and psychological portraiture. In my abstract work, I explore architecture, nature, reflection, and texture through the visual language of abstraction. In my portrait photography, I focus on conveying deep emotional states, inner experiences, and psychological presence.

I work with light, shadow, color, reflection, and texture, shifting the viewer’s attention from what we see to how we can perceive and feel. In my work, color becomes emotion, and texture becomes character - an individual inner state.

In 2019, during a period of personal transformation, I returned to photography as a way to rediscover inspiration and reconsider my perception of the world. In 2022, I relocated to Orlando, Florida, USA. After a short creative pause, I returned to active work with renewed focus, deepening my artistic practice and entering a new stage of personal and creative growth.
