My journey into the world of art began at birth, when my father painted a portrait of my mother. I grew up surrounded by old tubes of oil paints and easels as his workshop was located in our house. Although he sometimes took me with him to his side jobs, including frescoing the walls of an Orthodox church, I was just a curious observer. However, he changed his profession because it is difficult for an artist to feed his family and began to build beautiful wooden houses and churches.

Despite his career change, I still had the desire to create and draw, like my father. I collected countless sketchbooks filled with landscapes and wildlife, which attests to my enduring passion for nature. But then my father taught me that paintings are just a hobby, and I needed to find a real job to make a living.

I got an education in graphic design, which laid a solid foundation for me in the theory of color and composition. However, I found myself drawn to tactile, tangible environments that pulsate with life and evoke inner sensations. I honed my skills by experimenting with polygonal shapes and creating three-dimensional animal figures from designer cardboard.
