Cinzia Beretta

I am an Italian artist who lives in a small town near the wonderful Lake Como and the majestic Alps. Nature and everything that surrounds me have always been my lifeblood, my muse.
After attending the prestigious Milan School of Art, specializing in church furnishings and decoration, I expanded my knowledge by studying interior architecture. However, my heart beats for painting, especially for the acrylic on canvas technique.
This passion is reflected in my works which range from the representation of still lifes to the animals and landscapes that surround me, with a style that recalls the suggestions of impressionism. Like the great masters Toulouse Lautrec, Van Gogh and Hopper, I try to paint emotions with colors and shapes.
Painting is a deep need, a creative urgency to express my vision of the world with every brushstroke.
