Marina Speroni

Marina Speroni was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1980.
From a very early age, she taught herself different art mediums, compositions and techniques, taking also part in several exhibitions.
Due to her excessive use of vermilion red, Prussian blue, ochre and ivory black colours and also the emphasis on buildings and dark and gloomy atmospheres; influences from artist L S Lowry have been attributed to her.
Marina often employs acrylics and oils, creating layers of depth and emotion that resonate with viewers.
Lately she is dedicated to explore the visual potential of abstract art and the use of vibrant colours.
