Diego Ben Karlsson

Professor, PhD. Digital artist. I like to read, write, travel and photography. My life is linked to nature, to the countryside, to water, to fire, to animals, to learning about cultures. It's what fills me and makes me want to continue living.

I worked my entire life in artificial intelligence and neuroscience. I have been Conference Chair, Program Chair and Tutorial chairs of multiple international conferences. I have published several articles in international magazines and books in English.

I have always been linked to art and have worked on intervening photos with AI algorithms, some of which I have developed myself. Currently I am completely dedicated to digital art.

I was born in Argentina and I have lived in different countries: The Netherlands, Argentina and Uruguay. I currently reside in Mexico.
