I have been painting for 20 years, self-taught, starting with copying the masters like Rembrandt, Leonardo or the Singer Sargent, means the Renaissance, the Baroque and the Impressionism. Over the years, I have shifted my focus on the modern impressionism.

My craft is rooted in solid research, drawing on the materials and techniques of the old masters.

My motivation lies in capturing the awe-inspiring beauty of nature - whether it is the human form, especially women, or flowers, cloudy skies or heart warming landscapes - inbuing each piece with the essence of the moment and the fleeting beauty I see in the world.
