As soon as I stand in front of the canvas, my heart takes over the brush.

The paintings I create are a reflection of what I have been through, things we are all familiar with – failures, disappointment and serious illness. I grew up in a household with domestic violence, both physical and emotional. I have now completed treatment in a rehab center for alcohol addiction, and I would like to share my story.
Well, the life is not easy but it is thanks to these things that the other side shines through in my paintings – joy, ease and hope.

Each painting has its own emotion – the feelings I’m going through as I paint it. I believe these paintings speak to people who are experiencing something similar.

Paintings affect us mentally; we perceive different dynamics, rhythms, metaphors, lines and brushstrokes in art, allowing us to examine the artist’s personality as well as our own. This is why I perceive art as an important part of our lives.
