Probably every artist remembers in details the moment when he decided to give their heart to art. My love for art was discovered when I met the still life of the Dutch master of the 16th century - the incredible painting by Jacob van Hulsdonck "Still life with Lemons, Oranges and Pomegranate". This work of art made a very strong impression on me, so I decided to learn the style of Flamish painting.
As soon as possible, I found a teacher who helped me master the technique of the ancient masters.
And then the painstaking work on improving my skills began. I made dozens of copies of paintings of the 15th and 16th centuries. And each painted picture was not an ordinary redrawing, it was a study of the master's life, their experiences at the time of painting the work. In this way, I better understood the painting I was redrawing.
Mastering this technique, I knew that I would translate it into modern painting.
During 10 years of study, I came to create my personal series "Blooming", which I have been working on for three years.
