Girolamo Santulli

Art, for me, is a transformation a journey through matter and concept where instinct and reflection meet. My research moves between informal painting, sculpture, and installation, focusing on layering and transparency to create depth and spaces for the imagination.

I work in series, exploring the meaning of words such as Passages, Traces, and Confinis. Following a ten-year period of "active silence" and introspection, my current production marks a matured return to public dialogue. Influenced by Informal Art and masters like Burri and Fontana, I am not interested in academic technique but in surpassing it, transforming chaos into emotion.

My goal is not to represent reality but to offer a threshold an opening into an inner dimension. My works are held in public and private collections, with an exhibition history including museums and galleries in Italy and abroad.
