Hilda De Jesus

I'm a Filipino artist currently living in Virginia, USA. Born from a family of artist, my brother who is an abstractionist and my aunt who is an art teacher, I discovered my passion for arts when I started to live with my aunt in art studio home. I started to read watercolor books and learned how to paint as well. But then, I graduated in BS in Architecture which is a bit different from what I love most. After studying, my brother invited me to join some Filipino artist group and events. I became a part of the WALO artist group composing of talented Filipino artists. There I started to paint using acrylic and exhibit my artworks in different places in the Philippines. I also get to join some drawing sessions and school art events sponsored by Faber Castell. Then I started to move in the USA. I applied as a Grumbacher instructor and finally got it. Now, still continuing with my passion in painting and arts.
