My practice explores stillness as both a visual condition and a way of paying attention.

I think of these works as a form of visual oxygen: spaces in which material, texture and repetition can encourage a slower encounter.

Coming to art from a professional background in finance rather than through formal artistic training has shaped the way I approach making. My practice has developed through observation, experimentation and an ongoing investigation into the relationship between natural materials, physical processes and perception.

Nature provides both material and structural references for my work. I am interested in patterns of repetition and variation, organic rhythms, and the way complex systems can emerge from relatively simple forms.

These works do not prescribe a particular emotional response, but invite a quieter form of looking.
