Bojan Bikić

Bojan Bikić is a Serbian printmaker specializing in the rare and demanding technique of mezzotint. Educated at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade, where he earned both his BFA and postgraduate degree in Printmaking, he has devoted his artistic practice to exploring mythology, dreams and symbolic narratives through the expressive possibilities of light and darkness.

Alongside his work as an artist, Bikić is actively engaged in preserving and promoting traditional printmaking. He is one of the founders of the Liht Blau art group and the founder and editor-in-chief of Autorski otisak, a journal dedicated to classical printmaking.

His work has been presented in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Serbia and internationally, including exhibitions in France, Italy, Poland, Belgium, China, Romania and Mexico. He is a member of ULUS and ULUPUDS and has received several professional awards, including the Annual ULUPUDS Award.

Working almost exclusively in mezzotint, Bikić creates limited-edition prints in which mythological figures, allegories and dreamlike imagery become vehicles for exploring memory, silence and the hidden dimensions of human experience.
