Masatro Lab

Masatro Lab is the artistic project of Katyia Mastrorocco, an independent artist currently based in Dublin.

I work with oil on cotton canvas, charcoal, acrylics, and various mixed media, allowing my intuition to guide the choice of materials. I do not follow a predetermined theme; instead, each work is born as a response to an emotional urgency, an inner movement seeking form and color.

Fears, insights, desires, and vital impulses intertwine on the surface, making every piece unique and unrepeatable.

Masatro Lab is my living space for research, open to change and transformation, where every painting is an act of presence.

I have always studied technology, but my soul has always chased nature and creativity.
