Valeria is trying to recognize herself and improve through her creativity.
Valeriia Marchuk leans on her sturdy foundation in professional art school and the liberating power of oil paintings. Splashing scenes from expressionism, primitivism and abstraction, she births her work from books, braiding philosophy, mythology, and religion into her canvas. Through her paintings, she seeks existential thoughtfulness, echoing the quiet paradox found in the midst of loss and in the splendor of creation.
