Anna Levin

I am an artist based in Israel working primarily with dry pastel and mixed media. I also work with oil painting, oil pastel, gouache and watercolor.

Alongside my artistic practice, I work as a pediatric doctor. This experience deepens my attention to everyday life and small human moments.

I am drawn to landscapes, city views, still lifes and quick sketches that capture the atmosphere of a place. My work is inspired by travel, observations, books, exhibitions and museums.

I especially enjoy painting en plein air, when the drawing absorbs the light and character of the place and becomes more alive.
