Marvin Guzman

I am an artist with a renewed passion for oil and charcoal painting, rediscovering my love for the craft after a three-decade hiatus. My journey back into art began in June 2023, and since then, I've been deeply immersed in capturing the beauty of landscapes, often inspired by my travels across Europe. Working as a locum nuclear medicine technologist in the UK, I balance my professional life with my artistic pursuits.

I frequently use drones like the Mavic Air and Mavic Avata 2 to capture aerial views of mountains and landscapes, which serve as vital references for my work. These breathtaking perspectives allow me to infuse my paintings with a unique blend of realism and imagination, bringing the beauty of the natural world onto the canvas.

Originally from the Philippines, I began my journey in the medical field, graduating as a medical technologist. My career path led me to Saudi Arabia, where I specialized in nuclear medicine, and I currently work as a locum nuclear medicine technologist in the UK. Alongside my professional life, I am also an artist, rekindling my passion for oil and charcoal painting after a three-decade hiatus.

In June 2024, I had the privilege of showcasing my artwork at an exhibition during Art Day in Basel, Switzerland. My pieces were on display for two weeks at Basel Airport, attracting attention from fellow artists and collectors from around the world. This experience was incredibly rewarding and has fueled my passion for sharing my work more widely. Currently, I'm preparing for an upcoming exhibition in London, scheduled for 2025.
