Sergio Rivera Martínez

I'm Sergio Rivera Martínez, an artist from Madrid. You could say I've been painting since I was born in 1989.

Art came naturally to my life. My grandparents and mother were artisans and artists who worked with wood, tapestries, ceramics, and, of course, painting.

All my memories are associated with painting... At home, at my grandparents' house, birthday and Christmas presents in the form of paint sets, while watching my favorite cartoons, I painted. I painted so much that I did so whenever I left the house, and so I began experimenting with graffiti in my early teens, until today I've become part of Majadahonda's graffiti history.

Currently, I work with realism on canvas, carefully considering every detail and every expression. The motifs in my work are primarily nostalgic, retro, and/or classic.
