Emerson Cruz de Santana is from the city of Santa Rita in Paraíba. He is a self-taught artist and creates his work with peculiar features in a Naif style. His artistic work can be described as scenes from everyday life told in many colors, in the form of stories. His approach conveys a multicultural aesthetic and respect for differences, which reflects his interest in the diversity of knowledge and humanism. Each work is conceived as an existential moment and part of a greater narrative by the artist, who calls himself a storyteller.
