If I had to sum up my artistic pursuit in one word, that word would be “BEAUTY.” It is a difficult concept to express verbally, perhaps relative. So at this point we set out in search of what beauty is, since I intend to express it in the form of a painting. And so, we find beauty everywhere: in people, moments, faces, objects, scenes, in nature, in the most varied forms of life. We also find beauty in moments that are not so obvious, in bad and low feelings, in depression, in pain, in war, in the struggle of everyday life, we find beauty in a sad face or a face worn down by time. In 2010, after a lifetime as a fan and enthusiast of the world of art, philosophy and history, I decided to use the magnificent power of the internet to study the subject seriously. Enthusiasm became obsession and in 2014, I took advantage of the glorious moment in which we live, where the world is interconnected, to study the content of countless artists and masters. It was literally a dream come true. Content and classes that were previously expensive, rare and inaccessible to someone of humble origins, became an incessant search for more information about techniques, materials and the world of art. The history of art, books, manuals, debates and the discovery of the works of hundreds of artists became my routine and my life. I am self-taught, but I only got somewhere by listening to dozens of masters and experts on the subject, who often taught for free out of love and respect for art. It was a true honor and privilege to have access to the treasures of knowledge that emerged over the years.
