Julie Dekoninck (Geel, 29-05-1997) is a contemporary painter/artist based in Belgium, near Antwerp.
She started a few years ago with drawings in charcoal, only black and white. A few years later, she was selected from an expert jury to exhibit in Antwerp. After that, her journey continued with large, colorful acrylic portrait works.
Her inspiration is African people, mostly women, because they come into their own on the canvas.
