Michail Fotopoulos

I am Michail Fotopoulos, a.k.a iMiTeLex, born in 1982 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Art is my lifeline—a deeply personal and introspective journey into the depths of my subconscious. It is a peculiar adventure, often filled with questions that lead to more questions, like a marathon runner lost in a dream yet occasionally catching glimpses of light.

Art, for me, is a sanctuary—a precious mirror that reflects both the damaged and the hopeful. Rarely do I feel fully satisfied with my creations, but in their imperfections, I find hope. This hope is born from the process itself, offering a sense of clarity in a world that often feels chaotic and fractured.

Painting is my way of processing emotions, a hidden dialogue with myself that I strive to share with others. Through my work, I invite viewers to step into this conversation, to reflect and connect. I often work in series, exploring a variety of themes within the vast realm of abstract painting, where color, texture, and form become my voice.
