"Abstract Fluid Art is unique in all the world, in that you can’t tell the colors what to do, only coax them along to spectacular and unique results that radiate iridescence and shimmer in the glow of metallics. I appreciate the highest quality acrylic paints, gallery canvases, and crystal-clear acrylic resins. My tools include a ton of utensils from the kitchen, items from the toolbox, multiple hair dryers, heating torches, and mediums. As the magic happens, colors explode to life, blending with a neighbor and forming spectacular partnerships that can amaze for a lifetime. Be sure to zoom-in to see the shimmer firsthand.”
Terry Renner was born and raised in Seattle Washington, USA, but has lived most of his life in beautiful California. Terry is a member of the Stanislaus Arts Council Gallery and a longtime participant in Sutter Health’s Complementary Therapy Program where many work together with cancer survivors to create breathtaking art. His creations include Impressionistic pieces and dynamic acrylic fluid art projects, many covered with crystal-clear acrylic resin – providing a level of UV protection to help maintain color intensity. Terry will also consider contracted fluid art through this gallery.
Seven years of college in the United States. I am a retired software engineer by trade but found that I could paint something other than living walls with a roller. Who knew? My higher education included lots of computer engineering stuff but also many semesters of art appreciation at different levels. I became a fan of art in the abstract.
October 15th at the SAC Gallery, Modesto California.
