Julia Ruf

Julia Ruf is a contemporary artist based in Berlin, Germany.
To create her unique works of art, she uses various materials (acrylic, oil, oil pastel).
Her works convey the value and significance of life's moments, the desire for the best, the excitement of anticipation, sexuality and deep emotional experiences. And she is looking for ways to archive these moments, turning them into small stories.
Her paintings are based on figurative images - which are an exploration of the feelings awakened by the artist as a result of the search for inner meaning.
Viewers are invited to immerse themselves in a work of art, experience the emotions it evokes, and discover a part of themselves in it.

From a young age, she showed a talent for drawing, which she developed throughout her childhood.
1992 - 1997 she attended art school.

Graduated from the Tyumen Architectural Academy in Russia, majoring in Architecture.
After graduating, she began a career in architecture, but eventually redirected her creative focus to painting.
