David Zolo

David Zolo is a Colombian contemporary artist recognized for his distinctive Floral Expressionism and his unique technique of painting with real rose petals.
Born in Medellín, Zolo draws profound inspiration from Colombia’s rich floricultural tradition, especially the vibrant flower culture of Santa Elena and the iconic Silleteros tradition. Through his art, he proudly represents Colombian creativity and cultural heritage on the international stage.
Using real roses, David Zolo has developed a highly personal visual language. His paintings are created with rich, energetic textures full of movement and emotion. This signature technique transforms the rose into a powerful form of expression, turning living flowers into eternal works of art.
