Leticia Demeuse

Brazilian artist Leticia Demeuse resides in San Diego, California, where she draws inspiration from the vibrant colors and natural beauty of her surroundings. Her work has been featured in Luxe Magazine, San Diego Magazine, Home & Garden, and other prominent publications. Leticia has participated in prestigious exhibitions across Brazil and Los Angeles and was honored as the artist-in-residence at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos in February 2024. She is proudly represented by galleries in Palm Desert, Topanga Canyon, Laguna Beach, and Porto Alegre, Brazil. Leticia Demeuse’s art reflects a deep connection to nature, capturing moments of beauty and serenity through bold colors and textures. She enjoys collaborating with collectors and designers to bring unique, meaningful pieces into their spaces.

Leticia Demeuse holds a Master’s degree in Marketing from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor’s in Communications from PUC/RS in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Her formal education in marketing and communications has deeply influenced her approach to art, blending creativity with strategic thinking. In 2020, she further developed her artistic skills through the Making Art Work program with artist and mentor Emily Jeffords. She has also expanded her expertise by taking various art classes, both online and in San Diego, focusing on painting techniques, color theory, and mixed media. This combination of formal education and hands-on artistic training allows Leticia to bring a unique and thoughtful perspective to her work.

Demeuse’s work has been showcased in numerous prestigious group exhibitions across the U.S. and Brazil. Recent highlights include Materia at Artemis Studio LA in Topanga, CA (October 2024), Earthbound (February 2024), and Reve d’été (August 2023) at the same venue. Their international exhibitions include The Gravura Collective Show at Menduina Schneider Gallery in San Pedro, CA (December 2022) and Atlantida Arte na Praia at Galeria Gravura in Atlantida, Brazil (Summer 2022). These exhibitions continue to inspire Demeuse's evolution as an artist, allowing them to connect with collectors and art lovers from around the world.
