EXHIBITIONS
I am Scottish artist living and working in Cupar, Fife. I trained at Edinburgh College of Art but only returned to painting in the late ‘90s. My main focus is on landscapes, both urban and rural. I enjoy working outdoors when the weather allows. I am constantly striving to develop my craft and would say my main influences are Impressionism and Expressionism.
I have travelled extensively around Scotland and abroad and this is reflected in my work. The Scottish Highlands are a frequent destination and have featured regularly in my work.
Diploma in design and craft from Edinburgh College of Art.
BSc Hons psychology from the Open University
