Bonjour!

My name is Marc Bouganin, I was born in Algiers and graduated 'Arts Appliqués de Paris' in Paris, received a Master's certificate from the Faculty of Art at 'Art Deco' in Paris.

I have specialized in oil painting and drawing for over 30 years and have a studio for teaching oil painting and drawing in Eilat.

The pursuit of creating new combinations between two extreme worlds—realistic and abstract-mystical—serves as a driving force for my creativity and expression. The fusion of these two techniques, so different from one another, opens up the horizons of imagination and creativity by the very need to find the common and connecting line between the extremes. My goal is to convey the feelings and energies I experience during creation into the painting so that every viewer can feel the emotional depth when looking at it.

My connection to oil colors stems mainly from their flexibility and the color play they allow me to create. These enable me to produce new colors from scratch, thus providing a more precise depth and giving each work a unique effect, whether it be landscape paintings, abstract works, or especially when it involves human figures and expressions.
