Arun Bhujbal

Born in 1959 in Maharashtra, India, I began my career as an illustrator in advertising after studying at an art school. Despite achieving success and earning accolades, I felt compelled to express India’s profound beauty through painting. Guided by Indian cultural philosophy, my focus is on realism, capturing life as perceived by the naked eye. My paintings pay homage to India’s rich traditional culture and lifestyle with a realistic approach. Inspired by the rustic daily life of Indians in both urban and rural settings, I aim to vividly portray their vibrancy on canvas. Through my art, I strive to preserve and showcase the inherent beauty of our traditions for future generations, reflecting my lifelong dedication to portraying the world as it truly is.
