EXHIBITIONS
An Qi is an independent photographer whose work explores the intersections of memory, identity, space, and time. Originally from northern China and he draws upon a personal archive of lived experience, cultural memory, and philosophical reflection.
An Qi’s practice is rooted in layering—the visual, the emotional, and the metaphysical.
Through conceptually driven photography and installation, he weaves fragmented realities into poetic visual sequences. His work often deals with states of becoming,transformation, and dissolution, engaging with questions of subjectivity, labor, and the cosmic.
Graduated from Xiamen University with a BA in journalism.
