My practice is devoted to the concept of memories and memory — processes, which are both intimate and universal. I am interested how memory works with emotions, how it preserves what has become special and important for us. In my works I want to show how it transforms experience. Memories are forgotten, but emotions remain, just like paint on a canvas.

In my work, I use a technique where I first create an image with acrylic paint and paper cutouts, and then gradually erase everything from the canvas. I put layers on and take them off, and so many times. This process allows me to leave only those brushstrokes and lines that survived, which I drew with the greatest emotion and strength.

This applies not only to personal memories, but also to broader social processes—what we remember and perhaps forget as a society. In my works, I try to explore how memory and experience can be changed or "erased" over time, but the emotional imprint remains.

Graduated from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute
with a Master degree in Applied Mathematics.
