"My goal is to capture unique moments of beauty in my art."

I started my artists journey at a young age. My father always encouraged me and was my biggest supporter. Much of my early work was dedicated to reproducing--through sketches or paintings--anything that triggered an emotional connection with me. This foundation was an ember that took years to ignite. I experienced a tumultuous life as a young adult, and never revisited my earlier passions until my adult life.

My husband was the one who encouraged me to pursue my art once again. He introduced me to the work of Daniel Wilson, a wildlife artist, among others, and I immediately felt that old connection once again; The ember inside me had produced flame, the fuel provided.

In my renewed focus, I use acrylics to help capture moments of interest in wildlife. I hope to expand this to nature scenery and portraits of people also. Please come have a seat by my fire, and enjoy your time here!
