Clarissa Regan

Dr Clarissa Regan is a practicing Sydney artist who works in ceramics, sculpture, printmaking and painting. She holds a PhD and Masters from Sydney College of the
Arts, Sydney University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours from the National Art School. She is
interested in narrative, story telling, archetypes and fairytales in art and tapping into the collective unconscious for imagery.
She has exhibited widely and most recently won first prize for her ceramics at the Sydney Royal Easter Show in 2024.
Her paintings are done in oil paint and her current body of work incorporates cold wax medium, which gives a highly layered and richly textured effect. Her works are held in private collections and in some public institutions.
