Barbara Leoni

I was born in Pisa (Italy) in 1971 where I graduated in industrial archeology and where I live.
I found expression for my creatività in various disciplines like ceramics, botanic painting on porcelain and collages, but photographing is my true and constant passion.
Photographing nourishes my curiosity and satisfies my desire to create and experience, it becomes an absolute presence in the present moment.
I prefer nature photography, portraits and still life.
Garry Winograd said: “I can’t see any pictures until I see photos. When I photograph I see life.” This sentence fully sums up my thoughts, taking pictures is like to capture life in its essence regardless of genre because each genre conveys emotions and sensations but remains a great celebration of life.
