EDUCATION
Gary Moger is a British photographer with nearly three decades of professional experience and a career spanning editorial, advertising, travel and fine art.
After studying photography at Westminster in London, Gary worked with leading photographers before becoming assistant and studio manager to the late Patrick Lichfield at Lichfield Studios in Holland Park. Since 1996, he has photographed for publications and clients including The Times, The National Trust, Elle Décoration, Marie Claire and Patagonia.
Alongside his professional work, Gary has always photographed for himself. His personal work is drawn to landscapes, quiet details and moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. He worked extensively on film and continues to use Leica and Nikon cameras, favouring a straightforward, instinctive approach to making pictures.
For more than twenty years, Gary has lived on Cornwall's Atlantic coast, where the landscape has become a constant source of inspiration.
His photographs are held in private collections internationally, and he is now bringing together a lifetime of personal work alongside new photographs as fine art prints.
Photography, Westminster College, London, 1996
